Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.

A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the web.

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offenses.

He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.

The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
